This Independence Day, celebrate in red, white, and blue with summertime cookouts and spectacular fireworks displays! Check out this list of festivities in your area:
Tucson Area:
Star Spangled Spectacular (Free): Marana’s annual event begins at 5 p.m. Celebrate Independence Day with live music, food trucks, and kid-friendly activities at the Silverbell District Park. Fireworks will start at 9 p.m.
‘A’ Mountain (Free): Just west of Downtown, the official fireworks of Tucson start at 9 p.m. There will also be food vendors and entertainment at the Tucson Convention Center earlier in the evening.
Naranja Park (Free): Oro Valley festivities begin at 5 p.m. at Naranja Park. This family event will include live entertainment, food trucks, and kid activities, such as face painting. If you already have plans in the evening, the Oro Valley Aquatic Center will be hosting an Independence Day celebration from 12-4 p.m.
Phoenix Area:
Fourth of July at WestWorld ($12 for general admission, $6 for Scottsdale residents, $20 per car for fireworks only, children 5 and under get in for free): Escape the heat and celebrate July 4th at the WestWorld convention center. The indoor celebration begins at 3 p.m. with fun for all ages including a petting zoo, bull riding, and live entertainment. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.
Tempe Town Lake Festival ($5 in advance, $8 at the gate, free admission for those with a Military ID): Gates open at 5 p.m. for music, inflatables, a splash playground, and more. Fireworks will be launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge at the end of the evening.
Fabulous Phoenix Fourth (Free): Check out the largest fireworks displays in the Southwest! The 32nd annual event begins at 6 p.m. and will feature food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts, and an interactive exhibit. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.
